It's just a few miles from the famous university town of St.Andrews - also known as "the home of golf" - and just along the coast are Elie, St.Monans and Crail with Anstruther and the Scottish Fisheries Museum under two miles away.

The Fife Coastal Path runs through Pittenweem along to other East Neuk villages and, for nature lovers, the Isle of May National Nature Reserve lies just off the coast.

The renovated stone-built pantiled house is in a lane just off Charles Street in Pittenweem and has off-street parking for one car - there's more free parking in Charles Street. It's got three bedrooms so is ideal for self-catering holidays for up to 5 people with bed linen, towels, electricity, gas and wi-fi included.

The High Street shops and sea views are just a short walk away and the harbour, beach, cliff-top walk and childrens' playground are not much further.

About the accommodation

The accommodation includes: a double bedroom, a second small double bedroom (4-foot bed), a small single bedroom, a bathroom with bath, separate shower and wc and an upstairs open sitting/study area with single/double day bed, small desk and a second tv.

Downstairs there's a lounge/dining room with a Freeview tv, a fully-equipped kitchen with a range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer-drier and a downstairs cloakroom and toilet.

Outside there's off-street parking with a small courtyard area for sitting out in the summer.

The house has free broadband wi-fi, gas central heating and a payphone (20p and 50p coins only).

Self-Catering Prices

Prices are for the house and include bed linen, towels, electricity, gas and heating:

• 2 people - £360 per week
• 3 people - £410 per week
• 4 people - £460 per week
• 5 people - £510 per week

A 10% deposit is payable on booking (there is no additional booking fee). Bookings run from 1600 Saturday to 1000 the next Saturday.
